Production Connections, LLC, referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Production Connections,” “PC,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit productionconnections.com, complete our forms, communicate with us, purchase or inquire about our services, or use a client portal or other service that links to this Privacy Policy.
Our services include marketing, advertising, website and software development, search engine optimization, creative production, photography, videography, consulting, and related business services.
“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be associated with an individual or household, as defined by applicable law.
This Privacy Policy addresses information we handle for our own business purposes. Section 11 explains our role when we process information on behalf of a client.
Additional privacy notices may apply to particular services, integrations, projects, or employment-related activities. Where a supplemental notice applies, it will explain the additional or different practices relevant to that activity.
Visiting our website, providing a telephone number, or reading this Privacy Policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive SMS messages or authorize processing that requires separate consent.
The information we collect depends on your relationship with us, the services you use, and the information you choose or are required to provide.
We collect information such as your name, business name, job title, email address, telephone number, business or mailing address, website address, and information about your organization or service needs.
When you establish a business relationship with us or use a client portal, we may collect account identifiers, authentication information, user permissions, contracts, proposals, project requirements, task information, appointments, approvals, and service history.
We collect information you provide through contact forms, email, SMS, telephone calls, voicemail, meetings, support requests, surveys, and other communications.
This may include the content of your communications, attachments, dates and times, delivery information, and records of our responses. Recordings and transcripts, when used, are addressed in Section 10.
We collect information necessary to prepare invoices, process payments, administer accounts, and maintain transaction records. This may include billing contact information, billing addresses, purchase details, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment-method information.
Payment providers process payment information according to their services, contractual obligations, and applicable privacy notices. The information available to us depends on the payment arrangement and integration.
Do not submit payment-card security codes, full financial account credentials, or similarly sensitive information through ordinary email, SMS, or general website contact forms.
We may receive photographs, videos, audio recordings, documents, creative assets, website content, customer records, and other materials necessary to perform an authorized project.
Files may contain personal information about you or other people, including names, likenesses, voices, contact details, and file metadata.
Our website and service providers may collect IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, device identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, access times, navigation activity, interactions with content, error reports, and approximate location inferred from an IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies are addressed in Section 5.
We collect communication preferences, subscription selections, privacy requests, and records of consent or withdrawal of consent.
For SMS, these records may include the telephone number, date and time of consent, source of the opt-in, disclosure presented, consent method, and subsequent opt-out instructions.
When you apply to work with us, we may collect your résumé, professional history, qualifications, portfolio, references, and information provided during the application process. Additional notices may apply to employment, contractor onboarding, or legally required verification.
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through our website and services, and from sources connected to our business relationship.
Those sources may include your employer or organization, authorized project participants, clients, referral sources, payment and communication providers, social media platforms, publicly available business information, and services you authorize us to access.
When you authorize an integration with an external account or platform, we receive information made available through the permissions you grant. You can generally revoke future access through that platform’s settings or by contacting us. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already lawfully received.
Receiving your telephone number from a referral, public source, business record, or another organization does not, by itself, enroll you in our SMS program.
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, assess service needs, prepare proposals, establish and administer accounts, deliver projects, schedule appointments, provide support, process transactions, and communicate about your relationship with us.
We also use information to maintain and improve our website and services, understand performance, diagnose technical problems, manage access, prevent fraud and misuse, protect confidential information, document approvals and consent, and comply with legal obligations.
Where permitted by law and consistent with your choices, we may use information to send marketing emails, measure advertising performance, and promote our services. SMS is governed separately by Section 8.
Application information is used to evaluate qualifications and administer the hiring or contractor-selection process.
We may create aggregated or appropriately de-identified information for reporting, planning, and service improvement.
When information is necessary to complete a requested transaction or provide a service, declining to provide it may prevent us from completing that transaction or providing that service. Optional marketing and SMS consent are not conditions of purchase.
Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance, and support advertising.
These technologies can collect personal information, including online identifiers, IP addresses, device information, and browsing activity. Information collected through them is not necessarily anonymous.
Third-party analytics, advertising, or embedded-content providers may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites or services. Their processing depends on the technology, our configuration and agreements, your choices, and applicable law.
Where a cookie-preference control is provided, you can use it to review or change your selections. Where consent is required, nonessential technologies are used only after the required consent is obtained.
Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect functionality. Browser-based selections may need to be repeated when you change browsers or devices or clear stored preferences.
We process legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law. Depending on the signal and available information, the choice may apply to the browser or device sending it and, where required, an associated account.
Legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals are not treated as equivalent to Global Privacy Control and do not independently change our processing practices. You may exercise the choices described in this section and Section 15.
We disclose personal information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, as otherwise disclosed when information is collected, or as permitted or required by law.
We disclose information to providers and authorized contractors that help operate our business and perform services. These may include hosting, storage, website development, security, customer-management, project-management, communications, payment processing, accounting, analytics, and approved creative-production providers.
Our messaging providers, including Telnyx, process information necessary to support SMS delivery and related functions.
Providers receive information relevant to their services and are subject to contractual or legal restrictions appropriate to their role. Some providers, such as payment processors and telecommunications carriers, may also process information to satisfy their own legal obligations.
Information associated with an organizational account or project may be available to authorized administrators, collaborators, and service personnel according to account permissions, project instructions, and applicable agreements.
Content submitted to a shared business workspace should not be assumed to be private from that workspace’s authorized administrators.
When these services are enabled, we may disclose online identifiers, device and usage information, approximate location, and advertising-interaction information for the purposes described in Sections 5 and 7.
This does not authorize disclosure of SMS subscriber telephone numbers, SMS opt-in records, or consent information for advertising or promotional purposes.
We may disclose information to legal, accounting, insurance, and other professional advisers when necessary for their work.
We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to respond to valid legal process, enforce agreements, investigate misconduct, protect safety, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.
A business transaction does not automatically create permission for a different organization to send you marketing texts. Existing consent limitations continue to apply unless a lawful new authorization is obtained.
We may disclose information when you instruct or authorize us to do so, including publishing approved project materials or sharing information with a designated collaborator.
We may disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual. We maintain such information in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.
The SMS-specific restrictions in Section 8 apply throughout this Privacy Policy and are not overridden by these general disclosure categories.
We do not sell or rent personal information in exchange for money.
Certain disclosures through advertising technologies may nevertheless qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws, even when no money changes hands.
Where such technologies are enabled, the information involved may include cookie and device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing activity, approximate location, advertising interactions, and related interest inferences. Recipients may include advertising networks, social platforms, and advertising-measurement providers.
You may exercise applicable opt-out rights using the methods described in Sections 5 and 15.
We do not provide SMS subscriber telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records to advertising platforms for audience matching, retargeting, or other promotional purposes.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Production Connections uses SMS to communicate with individuals who have opted in to receive messages concerning inquiries, appointments, project or service updates, account and billing notifications, and customer support.
Messages may be sent using automated messaging technology.
Enrollment in this service-related SMS program does not enroll you in promotional text messaging.
SMS consent is collected separately from acceptance of general website terms or acknowledgment of this Privacy Policy.
When you opt in through a website form, the SMS consent selection is optional and unchecked by default. The disclosure identifies Production Connections and describes the messages you are agreeing to receive.
Providing a telephone number, submitting an inquiry, purchasing a service, or agreeing to general terms does not automatically constitute SMS consent.
We maintain records of consent and subsequent communication preferences.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Message frequency may vary based on your inquiries, appointments, projects, account activity, and support needs.
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and service plan.
You may opt out by replying STOP to a message.
After you opt out, we may send one confirmation of your request. We will then stop sending SMS messages unless you subsequently provide valid consent to resume them.
You may reply HELP for assistance or contact [email protected] or 615-345-6377.
We also honor other clear, reasonable requests to stop SMS communications that are communicated to us through appropriate contact channels.
Opting out of SMS does not cancel a service agreement or outstanding obligation. Necessary account communications may continue through another permitted channel.
Production Connections does not sell, rent, or share mobile subscriber information, including telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent records, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from the advertising, audience-building, and unrelated data-sharing activities described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
We do not disclose SMS opt-in information for purposes unrelated to providing and administering the messaging program, except where disclosure is legally required.
Information necessary to deliver, support, secure, and document SMS communications may be processed by our messaging platform providers, telecommunications carriers, and other vendors assisting with those functions. Their access does not authorize them to use that information for their own marketing.
Additional program details are provided in our separate Terms & Conditions.
Where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences, we may send emails about Production Connections’ services, content, events, or business updates.
You can unsubscribe using the instructions in a marketing email or by contacting [email protected].
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending necessary nonmarketing communications, such as invoices, security notices, requested responses, or material service information.
Email preferences and SMS preferences are maintained separately. Consent for one communication channel does not automatically authorize another.
Where used, telephone, voicemail, meeting, or support systems may generate recordings, transcripts, summaries, and related communication records.
We provide recording or transcription notices and obtain consent where required. Contact us through email to request an alternative communication method.
We may use approved automated or AI-assisted tools to support activities such as transcription, summarization, organizing project materials, drafting content, analyzing service performance, and responding to support inquiries.
When those tools process personal information, their use remains subject to this Privacy Policy, applicable client instructions, provider restrictions, and legal requirements.
We do not authorize AI providers to use nonpublic client content or personal information supplied on our behalf to train their general-purpose models.
We do not use solely automated processing to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals through our ordinary website and customer-support activities. Any different use requiring additional disclosures or rights will be addressed before implementation.
Our work may require us to process information belonging to or controlled by a client, including information about the client’s customers, prospects, employees, website visitors, or other contacts.
Examples include operating a client website, managing a campaign, configuring a customer-management system, processing project files, or supporting communications.
When we act solely as a service provider or processor, we handle that information according to the client’s authorized instructions, our agreement, and applicable law. The client’s privacy notice generally explains why the information was collected and how individuals can exercise their rights.
We do not treat information supplied for a client’s project as permission to enroll those individuals in Production Connections’ own marketing or SMS programs.
Requests concerning information controlled by a client should ordinarily be directed to that client. When appropriate, we will forward a request or assist the client in responding.
This section does not eliminate any independent privacy or security obligations we have under applicable law.
Our general website forms are not intended for Social Security numbers, government identification documents, medical records, payment-card security codes, or similarly sensitive information.
Provide sensitive information only when necessary for an authorized service and through an appropriate method we have designated.
Where we process sensitive information, we limit its use to purposes permitted by applicable law, obtain consent when required, and apply safeguards appropriate to the information and service.
Creating or receiving photographs, audio, or video for a project does not, by itself, authorize us to use those materials for biometric identification.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable obligations, and address legitimate legal or operational needs.
Retention depends on the information involved:
Retention may be extended when necessary for an investigation, dispute, legal hold, or other lawful requirement.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, securely dispose of it, or appropriately de-identify it. Information awaiting deletion from backups remains protected and is not used for unrelated purposes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and misuse.
Access is limited to authorized personnel and providers with a legitimate need for the information.
No website, communication channel, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed completely secure. You should protect your account credentials and avoid sending sensitive information through inappropriate channels.
Please report suspected account misuse or security concerns to [email protected]. We will provide legally required notifications when an incident triggers applicable notification obligations.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a concern about our practices.
Depending on your location, the information involved, and whether a particular law applies to our processing, you may have additional rights to:
Email [email protected] or call 615-345-6377.
Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. Including “Privacy Request” in the email subject line can help route your message, but is not required.
You do not need to create an account to submit a request.
For requests involving access, correction, or deletion, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting.
We limit verification information to what is appropriate for the request and use it only for verification and related security purposes.
Opt-out requests are not subject to identity verification unless applicable law permits or requires it.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may request evidence of authorization or directly confirm the request with you when appropriate.
We respond within the period required by applicable law and provide notice of any permitted extension.
Certain requests may be limited by legal retention duties, security needs, the rights of other individuals, or other applicable exceptions. Where required, we explain the reason for denying or limiting a request.
To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, email [email protected] with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line and identify the decision you are appealing. We will review the appeal and provide the response and further complaint information required by law.
Applicable state laws may provide rights relating to the categories and specific pieces of information collected, sources, purposes, disclosures, sales or sharing, correction, deletion, portability, sensitive information, and opt-outs.
The availability and scope of those rights depend on the relevant law and its applicability. Sections 2 through 7 describe our categories of information, collection sources, purposes, and recipient categories.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits a right that applicable law provides.
Production Connections operates in the United States. Personal information may be stored or accessed in the United States and other countries where authorized personnel and service providers operate.
Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and associated safeguards. You may contact us to request information about the safeguards relevant to your information, including a copy where available and appropriate.
Where European or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, our legal bases may include:
You may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable conditions.
You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
You may complain to the relevant supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. In the United Kingdom, that authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Our general business website, contact forms, and account-registration services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through those channels without legally required authorization.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization should contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Some authorized client projects, including school, event, photography, or video-production projects, may involve minors. Information handled for those projects is subject to the relevant client instructions, permissions, agreements, and legal requirements.
This Privacy Policy does not replace a required parental consent, school authorization, participant release, or project-specific notice.
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites or include embedded content, scheduling tools, payment interfaces, or other external services.
Those services may collect information directly and may have independent privacy practices. Review the applicable provider’s privacy notice before submitting information.
A link to an external service does not mean that this Privacy Policy governs that provider’s independent processing. Our own disclosures to providers remain subject to the commitments described here.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or information practices.
The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date. When required, we will provide an additional notice or obtain consent before implementing a material change.
Changes will not be applied to previously collected information in a manner inconsistent with applicable law or required consent.
Posting an updated Privacy Policy does not enroll you in SMS or substitute for consent that must be separately obtained.
